TAKING ON RESPONSIBILITY

To meet the annual recycling and recovery targets imposed on all European states, Romania needs an integrated waste management and traceability system.

With the help of Partslife, producers can transfer this responsibility, ensuring the achievement of collection and recycling goals.

According to Law 249/2015 on the management of packaging and packaging waste, producers, importers, and brand owners have the obligation to report and manage the quantities of packaging introduced on the national market.

Romanian producers are therefore required to properly mark recyclable packaging, meet annual recycling and recovery targets, report the quantity of packaging produced/introduced on the market to the Environmental Fund Administration, and pay the associated fees.

Producers and importers are responsible for the packaging
they produce or introduce on the national market.
We prioritize maintaining balance at the European level and make every effort to uphold the same standards and values in all the countries we operate in, ensuring our partners that recycling and recovery targets are met safely and predictably.
